Underfloor Heating Installation Across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London
Underfloor heating gives you even, comfortable warmth with no radiators taking up wall space. Our engineers install wet underfloor heating systems across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London.
Underfloor Heating Systems We Install
We design and install the right underfloor heating system for your home and floor type.
In-Screed Wet System
Underfloor heating pipes embedded in a sand and cement screed over insulation. The most common system for new builds and extensions. Provides excellent heat distribution and thermal mass for even warmth all day.
In-Joist System
Pipes fitted between floor joists with aluminium spreader plates. Ideal for suspended timber floors where screed is not practical. Retrofittable from below if there is access under the floor.
Low Profile Overlay System
Thin panels with pre routed channels for underfloor heating pipes laid on top of an existing solid floor. Only raises the floor by 15 to 25mm. Ideal for retrofit underfloor heating where digging up the floor is not an option.
Insulation Board Panel System
Pre grooved insulation panels that act as both insulation and pipe guides. Pipes clip into the grooves. Lighter and faster to install than traditional screed systems. Screed is poured directly over the panels.
Single Room System
Underfloor heating for a single room such as a kitchen extension or bathroom. Connected to the existing heating system with its own zone control. A popular way to add underfloor heating without doing the whole house.
Full House System
Complete underfloor heating for the entire ground floor or whole house. Designed with multiple zones so each room has individual temperature control. The ultimate in comfortable, efficient heating.
What Our Underfloor Heating Installation Includes
Why Choose Us for Underfloor Heating Installation
Proper Design
We calculate the heat loss for every room and design the pipe layout for even heat distribution. No cold spots. No guessing. Just properly designed warmth.
Quality Materials
We use quality underfloor heating pipe, manifolds and controls from trusted manufacturers. A system that lasts for decades. Cheap pipe and fittings fail early and are expensive to dig up.
Pressure Tested
Every system is pressure tested before the screed is poured or the floor covering is laid. You have confidence there are no leaks before the floor goes down.
Local Across Four Counties

Underfloor Heating Installation FAQs
Common questions about underfloor heating installation
What is the difference between wet and electric underfloor heating?
Wet underfloor heating uses warm water circulated through pipes connected to your boiler or heat pump. It is cheaper to run than electric for whole room heating and is the system we specialise in. Electric underfloor heating uses heating cables and is typically used for small bathrooms.
Can underfloor heating be installed in an existing house?
Yes. In-screed systems need the existing floor digging up which is practical during a renovation. Low profile overlay systems go on top of the existing floor and only raise it by 15 to 25mm. In-joist systems work from below if there is access under a suspended floor.
How long does underfloor heating take to warm up?
In screed systems have more thermal mass and take longer to warm up and cool down — they work best running at a steady temperature. Low profile and in-joist systems respond faster. We design the system to match how you use each room.
Is underfloor heating more efficient than radiators?
Yes. Underfloor heating runs at a lower flow temperature than radiators — typically 35 to 45°C compared to 65 to 75°C for radiators. This means your boiler or heat pump runs more efficiently. It also distributes heat more evenly so you feel comfortable at a lower room temperature.
Can underfloor heating replace all radiators?
Yes. A well designed underfloor heating system can heat your whole house with no radiators at all. Rooms like bathrooms with tiled floors are particularly suited to underfloor heating. We design the system to meet the heat loss for each room.
How long does installation take?
A single room system takes two to three days. A full ground floor in screed takes about a week for the pipe installation with screed drying time additional. Low profile overlay systems are faster as there is no screed drying time.
