Radiator Types We Install

We supply and fit the right radiator for every room in your home.

Double Panel Convector

The most efficient radiator type for most homes. Two panels with convector fins between them deliver high heat output from a compact size. Ideal replacement for old single panel radiators.

Single Panel Convector

A single panel with convector fins. Slimmer than double panel radiators, suitable for smaller rooms, cloakrooms and hallways where space is limited.

Vertical Designer Radiators

Tall slim radiators that make a design statement. Ideal for rooms with limited wall space, modern interiors and open plan living areas. Available in a wide range of colours and finishes.

Column Radiators

Traditional cast iron style column radiators in modern steel construction. Excellent heat output with a classic look that suits period properties and Victorian homes.

Low Level Radiators

Long low radiators designed to fit under windows and low sills. Perfect for conservatories, bay windows and rooms with limited wall height.

Towel Radiators

Ladder style radiators for bathrooms and kitchens. Heat the room and warm towels at the same time. Available in chrome, white and anthracite finishes.

Radiator Installation FAQs

Common questions about radiator installation

How do I know what size radiator I need?

We calculate the heat loss for each room based on room dimensions, window sizes, insulation levels and the room's use. This gives the correct radiator size in BTUs or watts. We size every radiator accurately, not by guesswork.

Should I replace single panel radiators with double panel?

Double panel convector radiators produce about 50% more heat from the same wall space. If your rooms struggle to warm up replacing single panels with double panels makes a noticeable difference. We can advise room by room.

Can you install radiators without replacing the boiler?

Yes. Radiator installation is independent of the boiler. We can fit new radiators to your existing heating system as long as the boiler and pipework are in good condition.

How long does it take to install a radiator?

Replacing an existing radiator like for like takes about an hour. A new radiator in a new position where pipework needs extending takes longer. A full house of radiators is usually completed in one to two days.

Do I need thermostatic radiator valves on new radiators?

Building Regulations require thermostatic radiator valves on all new radiators except the one in the room with the main thermostat. We fit thermostatic radiator valves as standard on every new radiator installation.

What colour radiators can you supply?

White is standard but we can supply radiators in anthracite grey, black, chrome and a wide range of RAL colours for designer radiators. Vertical and column radiators have the widest colour choice.
