Are your gas engineers Gas Safe registered?
Yes. Every gas engineer we send is on the Gas Safe Register — the official list of gas businesses and engineers who are qualified to work with gas. You can verify an engineer's registration online at the Gas Safe Register website.
How much does a new boiler cost?
A new boiler installation typically costs between £1,800 and £4,000 depending on the boiler brand, model, type (combi, system or conventional), your property size and the complexity of the installation. We provide free, no-obligation quotes after a home survey.
When do I need a Gas Safety Certificate?
Landlords are legally required to have an annual gas safety check and CP12 certificate for every rental property. Homeowners are not legally required to have one but an annual gas safety check is strongly recommended for safety and peace of mind.
How often should I have my boiler serviced?
Your boiler should be serviced annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Annual servicing maintains efficiency, catches problems before they become breakdowns, and is required to keep your manufacturer's warranty valid.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Do NOT operate electrical switches, do NOT smoke or use naked flames, open doors and windows, turn the gas supply off at the meter if you can, and call the National Gas Emergency Service immediately on 0800 111 999. Once the immediate danger is resolved, call us to find and fix the source of the leak.
Can you install a gas fire or gas cooker?
Yes. We install gas fires, gas cookers, gas hobs and gas ranges. All installations include testing for gas tightness, correct burner pressure, flue performance and safety device operation as required by Gas Safe regulations.
